The Matterhorn Terminal Täsch is a convenient, customer-friendly car park terminal which functions as a transfer hub to the vehicle-free world class resort of Zermatt. The journey by private car ends at Täsch. A special permit is needed to use the highway between Täsch and Zermatt. At the Matterhorn Terminal Täsch, visitors transfer directly and conveniently to the modern shuttle trains of the Matterhorn Gotthard railway (for details consult). The 12 minute journey by rail takes visitors to the railway station in Zermatt - at the heart of the Matterhorn village.
